I guess I can call myself that when I find cars for people to buy on CL/ !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ...
Quick oppoinion: Is a 2001 Honda Accord with 330k miles and full documentation a good buy for a cheap car (<$2000)? That’s a TON of miles, but on the other hand it’s a 4cyl (so non-crappy auto) and has the service history. Or is it a case where the age and use are going to inevitably catch up with it and the reliability will fall off a cliff. I’m certain it’s worth a test drive at least.

For $2k? Talk him down to $1500 since no one else will touch it. The car’s probably fine.

Have somebody pay you $5 for tips. Boom - professional. Oh, and maybe? Lots of miles, but for not that much, if it’s got a good interior you could swap an engine/transmission/whatever and still not be in that deep. A lot of suspension stuff can be good for another 100k past that, depending on the car - even if it hasn’t been replaced.

naturally, no interior shots. but the outside leans me towards it being OK at worst.
